A very non-traditional church

CC BY 4.0 ... find out more
Is this the most unusual church in Ireland?  This building on the eastern edge of Galway city was previously a hotel.   Then the Celtic tiger turned tail and ran, the hotel closed, and a few years later a local organisation purchased it, and converted it to a community centre - with the local Catholic church occupying the former bar and restaurant space.   This photo, taken in June 2014 also appeared in a few other places after I put in on Google maps - including here and here.
