The bridge across False Creek

This is a side-on view of the eight-lane Granville Street Bridge going across False Creek in Vancouver, Canada - taken in June 2007.

A ferry - for bicycles and pedestirans

These super-cute pontoon-style open-air, passenger and bicycle ferries ran along with classic water taxis in False Creek, Vancouver, designed to accommodate cyclists and pedestrians crossing the inlet.  Phtoographed in June 2007 - I'm not sure that I was brave enough to get on board.   But the pics of what amounts to a water-bus-stop in a wealthy marina are interesting.

Vancouver's skyline from south False Creek, June 2007

Looking at the Vancouver skyline, from the south side of False Creek, near the Vancouver Seawall and Charleson Park, on a summer day in June 2027:  sea, sun and the city.

Aqua-bus-stop in False Creek

Queueing at the nont-at-all-tourist 😉 aquabus water-taxi stop in False Creek, Vancouver, more-or-less under the  Granville Street Bridge.  Photographed in June 2007

Warehouses beside high-rises in Yaletown, Vancouver

An unremarkable street-scene from the area of Vancouver known as Yaletown: A few low-rise blocks, main comprised of historic brick and beam warehouse buildings,  surrounded by high-rise residential condomunium towers.   June 2007.

You are going to Granville Island

The unlikely-looking pedestrian entrance to Granville Island peninsula market and shopping district in Fairview  Vancouver, Canada, nestled under the braced concrete spans of the Granville Street Bridge.  June 2007.
