A late Georgian to early Victorian style public house (pub) is in the crossroads in Edinburgh city where the hay-market was once held. Photographed on a rainy-day in September 2025, when it was part of the Nicholson's chain of pubs, the sign outside focuses on the local, and is topped by a floral display artfully placed over the guttering.
